This is an ongoing project about favourite dishes of people I like (mostly chefs, see below). A Visual Meal is also about depicting food differently and appreciating meals, cooking and food.
Each photograph has its own individual and conceptual approach – depending on the chef and her or his dish. By eliminating the plates in the pictures I tried to shift the importance from set styling to the food itself and tell a different visual story about a dish. (Lisa Edi)
