My series „On Chess“ is an ongoing project where I try to consider the matter of Image Creation as a game. My devices and instruments are my digital and analogue cameras and digital and analogue editing techniques. I am trying to investigate the parallels of chess and photography in form and content. The influence of artificial intelligence on both sides and also the urge and struggle to come back to realness and traditions. In my series I am bringing together a lot of different techniques and styles to also build an archive of several possibilities when it comes to image creation based on the parallels of the once so-called embodiment of artificial intelligence - computer chess - and photography.
