The series was created during the months of the lockdown between Vienna and my home town in northern Lower Austria. Due to the restrictions associated with the lockdown, the urban space, which was otherwise tied to a feeling of freedom, was suddenly reduced to a cramped shared room. In the midst of the prevailing security policy, the rural exodus turned into an urban exodus and the former confinement of rural life was turned into a vastness. It came to a time of lingering, observing and approaching alienated places.

"I don't listen to the news no more". "Seabird", the song by the Alessi Brothers, is the soundtrack for the experiences made. "Like a lonely seabird, you've been away from land too long".
